About

Christian thinking is to “Think In Christ”. This is not simply to think about Christ, to think on Christ, or to think like Christ. To “Think In Christ” is rooted in the Christian union with Christ and the epistemological implications associated with this reality. We are regenerated in Christ and live in Christ, which defines the identity and operation of a Christian. True Christianity is not atheism, not pantheism, not polytheism, not any theism, not any mono-theism, not any triune theism, but biblical theism centred on the Person of Jesus Christ revealed in the Scripture. This is how we understand God and following that, how we understand everything.

We think in Christ the one true living God, as Christ is the Son of God, “whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power.” “No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father’s side, he has made him known.” “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also.” (John 1:18, 6:7, Heb. 1:2-3)

We think in Christ the world, as Christ is the Mediator of creation and Lord of all. “For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” “Whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.” “There is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.” (1 Cor. 8:6, Col. 1:16-17, Heb. 1:2)

We think in Christ the humankind, as Christ is the Savior and Judge of all. “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.” “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” “For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.” “He has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.” “And he has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man.” (John 5:27, Acts 4:12, 17:3, Rom. 6:23, Gal. 3:26)

The author endeavors to understand and apply this principle consistently in the Christian epistemology. This site will have articles discussing biblical teachings and their applications in the totality of Christian life, following the steps of faithful saints in church history and in communion with saints in the present day. The author’s theological method is influenced by John Calvin, John Owen, Herman Bavinck, Cornelius Van Til, John Frame, and Vern Poythress. Van Til advocated for a consistent understanding and application of biblical truth as a system in distinction to all other ideologies. This idea has been further developed by his followers including John Frame and Vern Poythress. The content of this website is a digest of what the author has learnt and reflected in Scripture and in light of the writings of others. However, all errors are the author’s responsibility.
